Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 May 2026

1. Who we are

SovereignMesh Pty Ltd (ABN 00 000 000 000) operates the SovereignMesh platform, a sovereign procurement and supplier-verification service for Australian defence and industry. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” in this policy refer to SovereignMesh Pty Ltd.

2. Information we collect

We collect personal information you provide directly — such as name, work email, company details, ABN, and certification documents — when you register, verify your organisation, or contact us. We also collect usage data (page views, feature interactions, device type) via first-party analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to operate and improve the platform, verify supplier credentials, facilitate procurement matching, send transactional and compliance notifications, and meet our legal obligations under Australian law. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data storage and sovereignty

All personal information is stored exclusively in Amazon Web Services Sydney (ap-southeast-2). No data is replicated to servers outside Australia. Our storage architecture is aligned with PSPF, ISM, and Australian Privacy Act 1988 requirements.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We may share information with: (a) other platform users where you have authorised this (e.g., sharing your vendor profile with a buyer); (b) government authorities where required by law; (c) service providers acting on our behalf under data processing agreements that prohibit offshore transfer.

6. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@sovereignmesh.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies necessary for platform operation (authentication, CSRF protection) and first-party analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can disable analytics cookies via your account settings. Disabling session cookies will prevent you from logging in.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.

9. Contact
